Dog Parks: Take Your Pup to the Park

With the change in seasons, it makes sense to take your pup to the park and give yourself another reason to get some fresh air on a gorgeous day. Consider visiting one of these nearby dog parks if you don’t have a favorite park or you’re looking for some variety.

Pawm Springs Dog Park

15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479

Why go now? Encompasses 6 acres. Features a resort-style pond with a palm tree water spray feature. NOTE: This park is closed on Mondays for maintenance.

Where to park: Ample parking in the lot off Commonwealth Blvd.

Park features: South Mountain Pavilion, agility equipment, swimming pond, and a separate enclosed area for smaller pups.

Fresh air alert! Being near the sounds of the water features is so relaxing.

Sienna Dog Park

8807 Autumn Pine Dr, Missouri City, TX 77459

Why go now? Nicely manicured lawn and clean park. Dogs can safely play off-leash. Great location to meet those in the neighborhood.

Where to park: Limited parking area beside the dog park off Cherrywood Court.

Park features: Separate fenced areas for both larger and smaller dogs and water fountains.

Fresh air alert! Located in the back of Sienna makes for easy access to many of the neighbors tFresh air alert!o walk to the park and a quick drive for others.

Riverstone Dog Park

Riverstone Community, Creekstone Village Dr., Sugar Land, TX 77479

Why go now? Spans 3.5 acres of off-leash grounds.

Where to park: Convenient parking beside the park and beside Creekside Village Recreation Center.

Park features: Water fountains, benches, poop bag stations, walking trails, and separate small dog area.

Fresh air alert! Meet with community friends for walks with your pets or catch-up on a bench while the pooches play.

Bark Park

2703-2927 Grand Pkwy, Richmond, TX 77469

Why go now? This smaller park is an ideal size for younger pups or shy dogs that are more comfortable around fewer dogs with less socializing.

Where to park:  The nearby shopping center.

Park features: Tropical 6 acres with a shade pavilion, agility training equipment, loungers for the humans, and a palm tree water spray feature.

Fresh air alert! Taking your dog to the park is a great excuse to sit outside and just relax.

Danny Jackson Family Bark Park

4828 1/2 Loop Central Dr, Houston, TX 77081

Why go now? This park is perfect for the dog who wants to play with other pups and swim.

Where to park: Ample parking beside the dog park.

Park features: Off-leash dog park which is fully fenced with separate small dog area, swimming ponds, water spigots, fire hydrants, shade, and benches.

Fresh air alert! The park is known for friendly dogs and owners. Come, make some new friends!
